RiX-70 - INTRAORAL X-RAY UNIT
RiX-70 stands out for its durability, extremely high performance and ease of use.
To offer optimal and flexible installation alternatives, even in small spaces, RiX-70 comes in two models: a wall-mounted model with permanent installation and a mobile stand model to operate in different rooms.
The wall-mounted version does not require a large area for proper installation, the total extension of the unit, with a fully extended 80 cm support arm, is only 2.10 m. Compatible with any image
receptor available on the market: The RiX-70 intraoral X-ray unit provides the best results using Trident’s state-of-the-art digital image receptors, either I-View Gold/I-View Silver intraoral
sensors or PSP phosphor plates.
RECTANGULAR COLLIMATOR: Additional rectangular collimator of 43 mm x 35 mm. The use of a rectangular collimator not only reduces the skin entrance dose of the X-ray beam by as much as two-thirds, which is substantial, but the amount of X-ray scatter as well.
Friendly-user and intuitive control panel
The control panel is easily operated. The display shows the exposure parameters and the buttons on the timer indicate the icons to select the exam specifications:
Type of patient: adult or child.
Image receptor: traditional film, phosphor plate or intraoral sensor.
Tooth type: incisors, premolars or molars.
Highlights
0.7 mm FOCAL SPOT: With 0.7 mm focal spot, RiX-70 produces images of excellent quality even in the most difficult-to-reach oral cavity areas.
AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE TIME CONFIGURATION: Once the exposure parameters have been selected, the exposure time will be automatically adjusted in a range between 0.06 and 2.0 seconds.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND LOW MAINTENANCE: RiX-70 is easy to assemble and install. The electrical installation requires few steps without major wall interventions. The unit has few replaceable parts, which means lower operating costs and easy maintenance service.
