Animal root canal treatment remains one of the least-evolved procedures in veterinary dentistry. The instruments have changed, but the fundamental approach — mechanical, imprecise, operator-dependent — has not. Dentethoscope was founded to close that gap. By combining microwave ablation technology with real-time image guidance, we are building a system that makes animal root canal treatment faster, more predictable, and less traumatic for patients and clinicians alike.

Dentethoscope was founded in 2023 with a single question: why does animal root canal treatment still rely on techniques developed half a century ago?
Over the following years, we built relationships with leading dental imaging manufacturers and assembled a team spanning microwave engineering, veterinary dental science, and medical device development.
In 2026, we entered a strategic collaboration with a pioneer and leading microwave technology manufacturer to co-develop a microwave ablation system purpose-built for veterinary endodontic treatment. That partnership has accelerated our path from concept to clinical reality.
We are currently conducting veterinary endodontic studies structured around feasibility, reliability, and usability protocols — building a rigorous evidence base for animal root canal treatment. We have also secured our initial patent covering the unique design and application of the DScope system.
Our goal is to build the strongest possible veterinary evidence base and bring a certified, commercially available system to the veterinary dental market.
